Who I am...

My photo
I am a Thirty-Something year old mother of two lil boys who are are entertaining and energetic as they can be. I have to admit I live a fairly charmed life; and really have nothing that I should complain about. You don't raise heroes, you raise sons. And if you treat them like sons, they'll turn out to be heroes, even if it's just in your own eyes. ~Walter M. Schirra, Sr.

Cleanliness is next to......

OCD.... The term that most of my friends have pinned on me. And yes I admit I am a tiny bit over the top when it comes to cleaning. But I prefer CDO. Everything is order remember?

When did it become a crime to enjoy having nice clean things?
When did wanting you kids to grow up in an organized orderly manner become so un heard of?

I have to admit I have gotten better ( only because with my work and school sched. I had no choice) and yet the cleanliness of my house has gotten worse. So what if my saturday plans are to clean my house... I will be enjoying it come Saturday night. To me that beats any alcohol, band or movie/dinner night out you could throw my way.

I am the person who loves to walk down the cleaning aisle at walmart because it smells SOO good! I get excited over NEW and IMPROVED cleaning products and I take a great deal of pride and accomplishment out of clean dishes, no dirty laundry and everything being dusted and in its place.

So what if I own almost every febreeze airfreshener out there ( and they are organized by color of the lid) My house probably smells better then yours ;-).
Is it really a big deal that I put things away a certain way by shape or color?  I bet I can find things easier then you.

I just really hate when people say " oh your cleaning again."  Lets just get one things straight.... YES I am cleaning again... and YES I do have better things to do, but I am an adult and no one else is going to come along behind me and clean up after me anymore.

So when you visit my home, and I say ignore the mess.... just shake your head and smile because my idea of a mess may be your idea of squeeky clean. :)
